This policy explains how Youth Engagement & Educational Support CIC (“YEES”, “we”) collects and uses personal data, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
YEES is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any data protection query, contact info@yeesupport.co.uk.
We rely on legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running our services), contract (delivering commissioned work) and consent (where required, e.g. non-essential cookies). Special category and children's data are handled under additional safeguards.
Where programmes involve young people under 18, data is collected and processed through the commissioning school or setting under a data sharing or processing agreement, with safeguarding as the priority. We minimise what we hold and never use it for marketing.
We use data to respond to you, deliver and evaluate programmes, and meet legal and safeguarding duties, but we never sell it. Instead, it is shared only with trusted processors, such as our email, form and analytics providers, and where required by law or safeguarding obligations.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email info@yeesupport.co.uk.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
