YEES (Youth Engagement and Educational Support CIC) is a community interest company dedicated to transforming the way young people and educators grow, connect, and thrive.
We put Emotional Intelligence at the heart of everything we do. By teaching skills such as, self-awareness, resilience, empathy, and social connection, we empower young people to reimagine their potential and equip educators to better support them
Why We Exist
We noticed a clear gap: schools and youth services offered behaviour management and academic support, but little focus on emotional intelligence interventions. Young people were being asked to succeed without the emotional tools to manage stress, relationships, and self-belief.
YEES was founded to fill this gap, providing youth-centred programmes and training that strengthen confidence, motivation, and wellbeing while improving whole-school and community culture.
Our programmes are rooted in Emotional Intelligence. We use five key pillars to guide how young people grow and how educators support them.
Self - Awareness
Helping young people recognise their emotions and understand how feelings influence choices and behaviour.
Self - Regulation
Developing strategies to manage stress, control impulses, and respond constructively in challenging situations.
Motivation
Encouraging focus, resilience, and a positive outlook so young people feel ready to achieve their goals.
Empathy
Building understanding and respect for others, which strengthens relationships and reduces conflict.
Social Skills
Equipping young people with communication, teamwork, and leadership skills for school, work, and life.
WHO WE ARE
YEES was founded by qualified youth workers and safeguarding specialists, with decades of combined experience across education, the third sector, and youth services.
Our leadership team brings together:
- Extensive education sector experience – supporting schools and colleges to improve behaviour, attendance, and student wellbeing.
- Safeguarding and pastoral expertise – ensuring young people are safe and supported.
- Accredited training in Emotional Intelligence and NLP – applying evidence-based tools to help students and staff achieve lasting change.
